Draper Ham Radio Association
Members of the Draper Ham Radio Association are prepared to serve with emergency communications capabilities in and around the city of Draper, UT.
The city of draper is organized into 10 emergency services districts. Under a written Memorandum of Understanding with the city of Draper, the DHRA operates a repeater sited at the fire station on Traverse Ridge. This repeater serves all of the emergency services districts. If the repeater is down, the club will operate simplex on the same frequency.
Name | Frequency/Tone |
---|---|
DHRA Repeater | 447.100- 100.0 Hz |
DHRA Simplex | 447.100 |
In addition, each district in the city has a simplex frequency to use, with the exception of the Suncrest district. The geography of that district makes simplex communications with handhelds challenging, so they use the club repeater. If the repeater is down, they would operate simplex on the same frequency.
